There are remarkable developments in the digital information and telecommunications technologies these days such as cellular phone, digital broadcasting, and wireless LAN, etc. The development of these technologies brought the substantial change to the style of our daily life. However, more high-speed and more flexible wireless communication systems are hoped for as an infrastructure to form a maturer and ubiquitous network society in the future.

There are many important technologies that support digital information and telecommunications equipments. We are working on a wide range of projects in the area of the next generation wireless communications and networks. To that end, our lab's research crosses disciplinary boundaries by combining techniques from communication theory, information theory, network optimization, network protocols and algorithms, signal processing, and hardware design.
